Work Differently

Happy 2025!

For the last few years, I’ve been choosing a word of the year. For 2025, my phrase is WORK DIFFERENTLY. It holds so much potential!

Working differently can mean opening doors to new opportunities and ways of thinking and, possibly, to closing old doors. It’s all part of having a growth mindset – not getting too entrenched in “the way things have always been done.” We are constantly evolving as people, and how we do things should follow suit.

My mantra revealed itself to me when I was a guest on a podcast with business coach Ali Moledina of Kaizen Consulting. He is an extremely talented coach, an excellent listener, and a genuinely great person – I’m so glad to know him. We were talking about resilience in business, and it was a really meaningful conversation for me. “Work differently” popped into my mind with great clarity. For a deep dive, watch the whole episode here.

Watch the part where I land on my mantra for 2025

For me, success isn’t just about achieving financial goals. True success is a holistic journey that includes:

✨ Well-being: Prioritizing health as a cornerstone of a fulfilling life
😊 Contentment: Finding joy and satisfaction in both work and personal life
🌱 Elasticity: Adapting to life’s challenges while maintaining balance and embracing personal growth

When these pieces come together, they create a more meaningful and enriched version of success.

Here’s to working differently, embracing new opportunities, and crafting a life that truly resonates with who we are. 🎊

What’s your word or phrase for the year? Share in the comments – we can inspire each other!
