Back to School Energy Isn’t Just for the Kids

When I was a kid, I loved shopping for new school clothes and supplies. Fresh notebooks, sharpened pencils, and the excitement of fall outfits I couldn’t wait to wear. That “fresh start” feeling still sticks with me every September.
There’s something about this time of year that invites a reset. It’s a great moment to get organized, reflect on goals, and yes—make space in the closet for the season ahead.
Lately, I’ve been thinking about how all of this ties into self-care.
We hear that word a lot, but in my work as a wardrobe consultant, I see what it really looks like: women taking time to care for themselves after prioritizing everyone else.
The truth is—
– Caring about your clothes isn’t shallow.
– Wanting to feel confident and current isn’t selfish.
– Style is how you show up, and it tells the story of who you are before you say a word.
When you feel like your wardrobe reflects your personality, expertise, and lifestyle, your confidence shifts. You show up differently—in business and in life.
If redefining your style or refreshing your wardrobe is on your list this fall, let’s talk. I’m here to help you reconnect with your style—and practice a little self-care along the way.
