Happy Earth Day!

On April 22 we celebrate Earth Day. Personally, I believe every day is Earth Day, and the official day is a great reminder to refocus our intentions for living sustainably. Because our wardrobes are an essential part of daily life, they are an excellent place to practice environmentally-sound behaviors.

The fashion industry contributes significantly to many environmental concerns, particularly climate change and pollution, and the documentary The True Cost grapples with these pressing issues very effectively. AND, we can make changes to the way we build our wardrobes that will reduce our personal impact and send a message to the fashion industry that we want change.

Our purchasing choices have power. Making our existing wardrobe as functional as it can be and shopping new-to-you or ethically makes a difference! How will you make positive changes to your wardrobe? Would love to hear your intentions!
